About Stephanie

Stephanie founded Middleberg Nutrition based on her belief that there can and should be a middle-ground in dealing with health and nutrition. Eating well should not only be easy and fun, but should fit seamlessly into your daily life. Stephanie works with her clients to develop a plan that is right for them and their lifestyles. Her ultimate goal is to equip her clients with the tools necessary to live the healthy and nutritious life that they want, not one prescribed to them. Stephanie believes in not only teaching her clients the “what’s” but also the “why’s.”

Expert Advice for her Clients

Stephanie began her career in nutrition at Nu-Train in New York City. There she rose from an intern to a senior associate before branching off in early 2010 to found the firm that bears her name. Stephanie began her path to a career in health while working for both Porter Novelli and Manning Salvage and Lee where she represented some of the largest companies in the health and medical sector.

Expert Advice for the Media

Stephanie is frequently called upon by the media as an expert source for health and nutrition features. She has appeared in Glamour, MSNBC.com, MSN, Crain’s New York Business, AOLhealth, The Daily News, Cosmopolitan, Life & Style, and Woman’s Day to name a few. Stephanie is a member of Cosmopolitan’s Health Advisory Board as the publication’s Nutritional Expert and is a frequent contributor to Svelte Gourmand, a health and dining blog. Stephanie also is a frequent lecturer on the nutrition, most notably speaking at the 92nd Street Y on “Nutrition in the New Economy,” and at a forum discussing genetics and nutrition.

Education

Stephanie obtained her Masters in clinical science and her RD at New York University. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin where she graduated with honors.
